Fanes-Sennes-Braies Natural Park
A UNESCO World Heritage site on your doorstep — 25,000 hectares of pristine wilderness, pale Dolomite rock, and crystalline lakes, just steps from Hotel Monte Paraccia.

A World Heritage site at your doorstep
Staying at Hotel Monte Paraccia or Pension Pè de Munt means sleeping on the edge of a natural sanctuary. The Fanes-Sennes-Braies Natural Park, part of the UNESCO Dolomites World Heritage site, spans over 25,000 hectares of wilderness, pale rocks, and crystalline lakes.

A land of myth and legend
This is the land of Ladin legends. It is said that the Kingdom of the Fanes once flourished here—a people allied with the marmots. Walking across the Fanes plateau or admiring the “Parliament of the Marmots” (a natural rock formation), you can almost hear the echoes of these ancient tales.
