San Vigilio is located in Val Badia, at the gateway to the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park and Plan de Corones (Kronplatz), an internationally renowned hiking and skiing destination. It is one of the most popular mountain destinations in South Tyrol. In San Vigilio, which we Ladins call Plan de Mareo, you are in the right place!
What does the half-board service include?
Both the Hotel and Pensione Pè de Munt offer half-board: a rich breakfast to start the day and a gourmet dinner to end an active day in the mountains. We prioritize local suppliers, reduce waste, and serve many handmade products. We also cater to lactose-free or gluten-free diets upon prior request.
Are the Hotel and Guest House on the ski slopes?
Our properties enjoy a quiet location near the forest, yet are very convenient for the slopes. The Plan de Corones and Piz de Plaies lifts are a pleasant 1km walk away. Ski storage is available at the base of the lifts, and a ski bus service is also available.
Do I need a car for excursions?
No! We are located right at the edge of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park. Countless trails for all levels start right from our doorstep. A bus stop is located just a few meters away, connecting you to many popular hiking destinations.
Are the properties family-friendly?
Yes! The “Paraccia Experience” is perfect for couples, friends, and families. Children can enjoy an outdoor garden and a playroom. Babysitting services are available upon request.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, you can enjoy the “Paraccia Experience” together with your four-legged friends. The Pensione Pè de Munt is our dedicated facility for guests traveling with pets (a small surcharge applies). To ensure you can stay in the company of your furry friends, breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel’s bar area. Please note that pets are not permitted in the main dining rooms of either the Hotel or the Pension.
Is there bike storage?
We are bike-friendly! We offer a locked, video-monitored bike room, a tool corner for small repairs, and a wash area. We also provide trail maps and partner with local specialized shops.
What services are available for skiers?
In addition to their prime location near the slopes and ski storage facilities, Paraccia Experience properties feature a dedicated ski room with boot warmers and the convenience of a nearby ski bus stop ('Paracia'), providing easy access to both alpine and cross-country skiing areas. Furthermore, you can purchase your ski pass directly on-site and arrange for equipment delivery through our partner rental shops.
Are the facilities biker-friendly (motorcycles)?
Motorcyclists are very welcome! We provide a dedicated motorcycle wash area and our staff is happy to help with specific needs or route tips.

The village of San Vigilio is just a couple of minutes away on foot and offers everything: shops, a pharmacy, restaurants, and a supermarket. Ski schools, rentals, and the tourism office are all within easy reach.
